The capabilities of vacuum excavation within the municipal construction industry are virtually endless. Townships and municipal authorities are using vacuum excavation for broken valve box replacements, sub-surface utility engineering, cleaning out catch basins and storm drainage systems (MS4), pump stations, utility line locating, fire hydrant maintenance and replacements, and emergency sewer and water line repairs.

Streetlight posts, road signs, traffic lights all need to be installed by excavating the ground.
