We were happy to assist Susan Sullivan with Miss Utility at the recent safety day event held at the PEPCO service center in Rockville, MD.
This was a day set aside for PEPCO employees to stop in, get snacks, win prizes, and have the opportunity to be educated by various vendors set up with a safety message!
Our goal was to make sure that they were aware of MISS Utility … Call before you dig! Even more so to educate and get the message out of the importance of not only from a business/construction standpoint but how important it is as a Homeowner to call the 811 on your do it yourself projects, from planting trees, bushes, to installing a new mailbox post, or fencing.
We also had fun playing a game and giving prizes for knowing or learning the marking colors that are put in the field and which utility they stand for!
